Cosplay is the art of dressing as a fictional character from books, TV shows, movies, comic books or more. Cosplay, which is short for costume play, is similar to role play.

Furries are a subculture of role play with participants dressing as animals that tend to display human characteristics. A common misconception is that all furries are hypersexual and engage in the fandom to “yiff,” or have sex while wearing a fursuit.
